Commissions
Ibis
Boris is available for comissions. A selection of previous commissioned work is here for you to browse. Commissions can be negotiated directly with the Artist.
Sculpture
Driftwood Waders
Sculpture and modelling are an important part of Seahorses Art Studios' work. Customers may wish to either commission a work or to purchase a piece which has been newly completed. The photos in this gallery show a mixture of previous work and pieces currently for sale. Boris works in plaster, stone, wood and rendered 'insulation block'. Also shown are some examples of papier-mâché work, which is a popular activity in the Studio, along with products from our driftwood workshop which can be ordered and commissioned directly.
Glassworks
Mosaic Box
A wide variety of glass techniques are used at Seahorses Art Studio. We have held courses on leaded stained-glass and have worked on commissions using mixed mosaic and stained-glass glued onto concrete panels (for outside sites). The photos in this gallery show people at work as well as examples of projects, big and small. If you are interested in commissioning a piece of creative glasswork, contact us by email first and describe your project.
Previous work
Light Energy
A selection of Boris's previous work is here for you to browse, a few of these pieces are still available for sale. These photos were taken before thinking of a web-site gallery, so they have no dates or sizes and the gallery doesn't show the chronological development of the pieces. Those paintings still for sale are indicated with price, size and date.
Prints
These are no ordinary prints! 'Giclee' prints are produced using an advanced bubble-jet technique (as opposed to laser-printing) which can be printed onto watercolour papers. It is a water-based approach which is perfect for artist quality prints. The price of the prints reflects the time taken to create a quality product. If you would prefer to have them mounted and framed to their own specifications, the prints can be sent by courier in a postal tube. The prints can also be mounted 'in-house'. These are glued onto MDF with a pine-frame surround which can be painted white (this helps to integrate the white margin). The prices shown offer both possibilities. Please remember the additional postage costs. It is also possible to come over to Seahorses and collect your artwork in person if you wish!
